The City of Hagerstown's Public Works Department will continue to work on removing snow this weekend, Eric Deike, the city's director of public works, said in a city press release.
A crew will work today from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Deike said. Their work will consist of handling, among other things, closed alleys, closed driveways, possibly handicapped-accessible ramps and storm drains.
Deike said a second crew will begin today at 11 p.m. to haul snow from the downtown area. The crew will haul snow until Sunday about 7 a.m., he said.
Deike said the crew will focus on removing snow at the metered parking spaces on Potomac, Franklin and Washington streets.
"We appreciate everyone's cooperation and patience in this matter," Deike said.
