Computer CPR clinic scheduled

February 16, 2007

If you've ever felt helpless because of computer problems, come visit Hagerstown Community College's Computer CPR Clinic from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Valley Mall in Halfway. Students from HCC's Information Technology Association will provide consulting and repair services for home computer headaches.

With a suggested donation of $5 to $50, you can bring in your computer to the clinic for a variety of services. Student technicians will help diagnose problems on your PC related to hardware, provide advice on upgrading your computer with new hardware, or scan your computer for problematic issues such as viruses, adware or spyware.

The Computer CPR Clinic service area will be in the HCC Valley Mall Center, Rooms 7 and 8. No registration is required, but the number of cases accepted will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. For information, call 301-790-2800, ext. 599, or e-mail the ITA club at ita@hagerstowncc.edu.
