CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - A public forum on casino table games will be held Thursday, Feb. 22, at Jefferson High School.
The forum, which will begin at 7 p.m., is being hosted by the League of Women Voters of Jefferson County.
The League of Women Voters is an organization that seeks to educate the public about political issues and officials with the group thought it was important to have a forum on table games, said Euphemia Kallas, vice president of the group.
The forum, which is free, can help people understand the games in case they have any issues they want to talk to their local lawmakers about, Kallas said.
At the forum, there will be speakers addressing the ethical, economic, governmental and business aspects of table games, according to a news release.
