Funkstown business offers 'Art on Sight'

February 13, 2007

FUNKSTOWN - Benjamin Art Gallery of Hagerstown has announced an "Art on Sight" partnership at several area locations including Interiors of Maryland at 2 Baltimore St. in Funkstown.

Natasha Arnall, owner of the Funkstown design firm, said she was happy to participate in the new venture.

"We have 15 or so on the walls here," Arnall said. "It's nice because it gives clients a chance to see what is available so they can choose between the different styles."

Arnall said she also has other pictures by local artists with local scenes available in her studio.

Other locations include Antique Station in Frederick, and Legacy Furniture in Hagerstown. Other partners were to be announced soon.

Benjamin Art Gallery CEO Cliff Springer and CFO Gene Sappington also announced an agreement with Civil War artist Mort Knstler to partner to establish a Mort Knstler museum and gallery in downtown Gettysburg, Pa.

Benjamin Art Gallery is at 1303 Pennsylvania Ave. in Hagerstown. The gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
