Weekly film series

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - The Shepherdstown Film Society will screen "Grosse Point Blank," part of a weekly film series. Upcoming films:

Poetry workshop

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Poet Richard Garcia will conduct a one-day poetry workshop sponsored by Sotto Voce Poetry Festival from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the second floor of Stone Soup Bistro on German Street. The cost is $75, which includes lunch. No advance registration is required.



Faculty artwork

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - The art faculty at Shepherd University presents an artwork exhibition that includes photography, mixed media, sculpture, graphic design, painting, drawing and printmaking. Continues through Sunday. Shepherd University's Scarborough Library.

Nature photography seminar

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Potomac Valley Photographers will sponsor a nature photography seminar with Art Wolfe from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 25 at National Conservation Training Center's Robert C. Byrd Auditorium. The event is open to photographers of all skill levels. The cost is $199 in advance for both days or $139 in advance for one day. At the door, the cost is $249 for both days or $189 for one day.
