MEN'S BASKETBALL

Alderson-Broaddus 92, Shepherd 74

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Barry Cornish shot 13 of 14 from the foul line and finished with a game-high 25 points, but it wasn't enough for Shepherd in a WVIAC loss.

Levi Osby had 12 points, Yves Molina had 11 and Danley Shank and Fred Lymas each had 10 points for the Rams (13-9, 7-6).

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Shepherd 66, Alderson-Broaddus 47

SHEPHERSTOWN, W.Va. - Senior Danielle Costello posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead Shepherd in a WVIAC contest.

Krissy Grosselin added 13 points and Laura Harkins contributed 11 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three blocks for the Rams (14-7, 8-4), who have won three straight.

Hagerstown Senators tryout

The Hagerstown Senators will hold another tryout Sunday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Extra Innings baseball facility. The tryout is for the Senators 13-14 team and their 10U team.
