ELLIOTTSBURG, Pa. - Matt Anderson had a game-high 24 points on eight 3-pointers and added three steals to lead Waynesboro in a rout of West Perry.
Terrell Rickard had 17 points and nine rebounds and Tim Null had nine points and three blocks for the Indians (16-7).
South Hagerstown 57, Catoctin 54
Alvin Roberson scored six points in the final two minutes of the game to help South Hagerstown slide past Catoctin in an MVAL Antietam game at South.
Muzammil Bhutto scored on a driving layup to give the Rebels (8-11, 8-4) a 48-47 lead and Roberson took over down the stretch.
Roberson finished with 12 points and eight rebounds in just 11 minutes. Bhutto led South with 19 points and Steve Burnett added 12 points.
Brunswick 71, Boonsboro 64
BOONSBORO - Adam Flook had 24 points, including four 3-pointers, but Boonsboro was unable to overcome a 12-4 second-quarter run by Brunswick in an MVAL Antietam game.
Mike DeBarge had 17 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals, Kyle Kane had five steals and four rebounds and Matt Wetzel had four assists and four steals for the Warriors (9-8, 6-4).
Seth Haines had 26 points and nine rebounds, Kendall Naylor had 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists, Andrew Simpson had 14 points and nine assists and Justin Stone added nine rebounds and five assists for the Railroaders (11-7, 7-3).
Loyola Blakefield 55, Goretti 48
Loyola opened the second half with an 11-0 run to break open a tight game, then hung on to beat St. Maria Goretti in a Baltimore Catholic League game at the Gael Center.
Logan Bolinger had 19 points, Kevin Breslin had nine points and seven rebounds and Benny Alencherry had nine points for the Gaels (10-16, 2-10).
Loyola improved to 15-9, 4-8.
St. James 62, Queen Anne's 42
SAINT JAMES - St. James made its point with its points for a victory over Queen Anne's in the opening round of the Buffalo Wild Wings Shootout.
Spencer Draper dished out four of his five assists in the third quarter and Drew St. Lawrence made five steals to spark the Saints to a 25-10 third period and a 21-point lead.
St. James hit 14 of 24 shots in the second half to offset a 9 of 31 shooting performance in the first half.
Thursday, in McLean, Va., Potomac School hit 12 of 15 foul shots - and only one basket - in the fourth quarter to pull away from St. James 57-42 in a Mid Atlantic Conference victory. Mike Russ had 15 points and 10 rebounds while T.K. Washington had 12 points and nine rebounds for the Saints.
Heritage 59, Barrie School 45
SAINT JAMES - Philip Thurber and Steven Barthalow each had 18 points as Heritage Academy defeated Barrie School (16-7) in the first round of the Buffalo Wild Wings Tournament.
Hamilton Stamper had 16 points and nine rebounds, Matt Shank had eight rebounds and Bathalow and Cody Butts each added five assists for the Eagles (14-7).
Heritage will meet St. James today at 1 p.m. in the final.
Shalom 50, Calvary 30
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Joe Horner scored seven of his eight points in the third quarter as Shalom Christian pulled away from Calvary Christian and moved into a three-way tie for first place in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference.
Horner sparked a 17-6 period to help the Flames (14-6, 10-3) extend a six-point halftime lead to 17. Horner also had 10 rebounds and four assists.
Caleb Hussack had 19 points and 14 rebounds and Rodney Lehman added 11 points for Shalom.
Grace 55, Faith 44
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Jamie Heckman had 15 points and 11 rebounds and Zack Koontz had 15 points and 10 rebounds as Grace Academy beat Faith Christian in an MDCC game.
Nick Bunting had 14 points and four assists for the Knights (12-10, 8-5).
Chris Apple scored his 1,000th career point in the first quarter and finished with 12 for the Falcons (11-8, 7-6). Austin Arvon added 10 points.
Broadfording 68, New Life 54
Ethan Reynolds had 18 points and a career-high 20 rebounds as Broadfording beat New Life to notch its first MDCC victory of the season.
The Lions connected on 22 of 24 free throws in the game. Devin Gourdine had a game-high 21 points and Andrew Park added 10 points for Broadfording (5-13, 1-12).
Notre Dame 56, Mercersburg 42
MERCERSBURG, Pa. - David Theis led Mercersburg Academy with 13 points as the Blue Storm fell to Notre Dame Academy (26-0).
Kyle Roy had 10 points and Tim Rahauser added nine for the Blue Storm (6-12, 1-4).
