Graff retires from Fahrney-Keedy board

February 09, 2007

BOONSBORO - Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village is proud to acknowledge the retirement from its board of directors of one of its longtime members.

Florence Graff, wife of the late Dr. Henry F. Graff, joined the board in 1994 and has been an inspiration to the facility. Graff is known throughout the Hagerstown-Boonsboro area for her unmatched volunteer efforts to many organizations.

While she has resigned her board duties, she continues to bring sunshine to the lives of Fahrney-Keedy residents each week as she takes them to and from rehab and hair appointments within the facility. Many of the residents she transports are much younger than her.

Fahrney-Keedy is blessed to have been the recipient of Dr. & Mrs. Graff's generosity both through endowments and volunteer efforts over the years. She is tireless in her dedication and hard work and we wish to express our deep thanks on behalf of the facility and its residents for her service to the board.
