HCC to host lecture series

Hagerstown Community College's Center for Continuing Education is hosting an Allegany Optical/National Optometry Continuing Education Lecture Series VII on Sunday, Feb. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Kepler Theater.

Topics include "Endocyclophotocoagulation: A New Surgical Treatment for Glaucoma," "Refractive Cataract Surgery Today," "Refractive Surgery Update: New Technologies and Applications," "Compatibility, Durability and Vision in Silicone Hydrogel Contact Lenses," "Seven Things That Can Get You Sued and What To Do About Them: Minimizing Lawsuit Risks" and "Glaucoma Management: Where are We Going?"

The cost is $89. Registration includes up to six hours of continuing education credits, continental breakfast and a boxed lunch.
