The Hagerstown Chapter of Soroptimist International held its annual Christmas party for the residents of Walnut Towers on Sunday, Dec. 3.

Members of the club prepared and served a delicious variety of sandwiches, casseroles, chips, fruit and cookies to the residents gathered in the social room.

During an afternoon of bingo games, crafts and merriment, Santa made an appearance to hear wish lists and have his picture taken with anyone willing. Gifts and goodie bags for all rounded out the afternoon.

Approximately 75 residents enjoyed the party that has become an annual favorite of the Soroptimists since they began hosting it in 1986.
