Computer CPR Clinic set

February 05, 2007

If you've ever felt helpless because of computer problems, come visit Hagerstown Community College's Computer CPR Clinic at Valley Mall on Saturday, Feb. 24.

Students from HCC's Information Technology Association will provide consulting and repair services for home- computer headaches.

For a donation, computers can be brought to the clinic between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. for a variety of services.

Student technicians will help diagnose problems on PC-related hardware, provide advice on upgrading current computers with new hardware, and scan computers for problematic issues such as viruses, adware and spyware.

The service area will be in the HCC Valley Mall Center, rooms 7 and 8. No registration is required, but the number of cases accepted will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
