Celebration

February 05, 2007

Christian Life Church, Chambersburg, Pa., on Jan. 14 celebrated the early payoff of the $400,000 mortgage for the new educational wing and fellowship hall. LeRoy Bunker and Jeffrey Spidel actually burned the mortgage paper at the church. During the special service, founding Pastor David Howe of Bridgeport, W.Va., was in attendance, along with past and present board members of the 27-year-old church. During those years, the congregation has established a community food pantry, Mothers of Preschoolers, Royal Rangers and Missionettes, Chosen Generation Children's Ministries, Sudden Impact Youth Ministry, women's and men's ministries, as well as seasonal celebrations.
