CLEAR SPRING - Will Taylor had 23 points and 10 rebounds as No. 6 Williamsport fought off Clear Spring 61-48 Tuesday to remain unbeaten in the MVAL Antietam Conference.

The Wildcats (10-3, 6-0) led 29-27 at halftime, but outscored Clear Spring 32-21 in the second half to pull away.

Chad Poffenberger added 10 points and four assists for Williamsport. Tyler Shifler scored 11 points for the Blazers (3-9, 0-7), while Kyle Crist added 10.

No. 1 Chambersburg 48, Steel-High 44

STEELTON, Pa. - Aaron Hill scored 22 points and Devonte Merritt added 10 points and 12 rebounds as Chambersburg pulled out a Mid-Penn Commonwealth win on the road against Steel-High (8-8, 5-6).

Zach Frelin had five steals and three assists and Eddie Olson added three assists for the Trojans (14-2, 10-2).

No. 3 Jefferson 82, Glenelg 57

SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va. - Vance Hosby had 30 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks to lead Jefferson in a rout of Glenelg.

Dewey McDonald had 15 points, Ryland Newman had 12 points and eight assists and Marquise Jones had eight points and six assists for the Cougars (8-3).

No. 5 Martinsburg 69, Musselman 39

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Isaac Thornton had 12 points, while Isaiah Alford had seven points, seven rebounds, five assists and five steals as Martinsburg defeated Musselman.

Aaron Crim had seven rebounds and Dustin Peters added five rebounds for the Bulldogs (8-3).

Ryan Trochimowicz had 12 points for the Applemen (2-9).

Heritage 61, Grace 57

Hamilton Stamper had 19 points to help Heritage Academy overcome a 12-point halftime deficit and beat Grace Academy in a Mason Dixon Christian Conference game.

Philip Thurber had 15 points and Steven Barthalow added 14 for the Eagles (10-5, 7-1).

Zack Koontz had 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Knights (8-9, 4-4). Jamie Heckman had 15 points and, Jacob Reese had 10, Chris Culp had nine points and seven rebounds and Matt Durbin had five assists.

New Life 60, Faith 56

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Chris Apple had 28 points and 12 rebounds for Faith Christian Academy, but the Falcons' second-half rally fell short in the MDCC.

Austin Arvon had 11 rebounds for Faith (9-5, 6-3), which nearly rebounded from a 17-point halftime deficit.

A.J. Anthony scored 20 points and David Fewz added 16 for New Life (5-9, 2-6).

Berkeley Springs 66, Hampshire 65

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Foster Sirbaugh had 17 points and Joseph Wright and Robbie Williams each had 12 as Berkeley Springs (6-7, 1-2) handed Hampshire (4-6, 4-1) its first Potomac Valley Conference loss in overtime.

Greencastle 59, Big Spring 45

NEWVILLE, Pa. - Dameatric Scott's 19 points and seven rebounds aided Greencastle, which kept Mid-Penn Capital opponent Big Spring winless in conference play on Monday.

Jaren Gembe chipped in with 15 points and five rebounds for the Blue Devils (11-8, 6-2), while Greg Hamms scored 15 points.

McConnellsburg 50, Johnstown Christian 38

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - J.J. Grace had a double-double with 23 points and 15 rebounds to lead McConnellsburg over Johnstown Christian Academy on Monday.

Jarrod Appleby had 10 points, four assists and three steals for the Spartans (7-9, 2-7).

No. 3 Chambersburg 38, Trinity 37

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Steph Addleman hit a putback with five seconds left in the game to lift Chambersburg over state-ranked Trinity (14-3, 9-2) in a Mid-Penn Commonwealth game.

Logan Lentz scored her 1,000th point on a 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter. Lentz scored a game-high 18 points, including three 3-pointers on the night.

Addleman finished with 13 points and eight rebounds, while Courtney Salmon added seven rebounds for the Trojans (10-6, 7-5).

No. 6 Williamsport 56, Clear Spring 32

WILLIAMSPORT - Morgan Smith scored a team-high 17 points before leaving the game due to injury in the third quarter of Williamsport's MVAL Antietam win over Clear Spring.

Leah Mellott scored 14 points for the Wildcats (8-4, 5-1).

Courtney Smith had nine points for the Blazers (2-11, 1-6).

Grace 56, Heritage 40

Kelsey Shaffer had 18 points and 18 rebounds as Grace Academy sent Heritage Academy to its first MDCC loss of the season.

Megan Everett added 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Knights (11-5, 7-2), while Megan Cox scored 15 points, Rebecca Morgan scored 13 and Kristin Serafini had 10 rebounds.

Morgan McIntire led all scorers with 20 points for Heritage (11-2, 7-1).

Broadfording 48, Calvary 30

Taylor Capshaw had 16 points and Emma Stahl had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds as Broadfording Christian defeated Calvary Christian in an MDCC game.

Emily Stransky had eight points and eight rebounds for the Lions (5-13, 2-6).

Joan Kennedy had 12 points on four 3-pointers for Calvary (1-12, 0-9).

Hancock 58, St. James 49

HANCOCK - Shawnda Wills had a double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds as Hancock beat St. James.

The Panthers (4-9) outscored St. James 22-6 in the second quarter.
