Morris-Swope heads physical therapy department

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Robin Morris-Swope has been named Director of the Physical Therapy department at Fulton County Medical Center. Morris-Swope comes to the medical center from Lutheran Home Care Services and Appalachian Rehabilitation, both of Chambersburg.

Morris-Swope is a native of Chester County. She completed her undergraduate work at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She is a member of both the American Physical Therapy Association and the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association as well as, a group member of the South Central Pa. orthopedic study. Robin also sits on the advisory board of Penn State Mont Alto's Physical Therapist Assistant Program.

Doctor joins Fulton County Medical Center staff

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Dr. Jon Matre of Potomac Gastroenterology of Waynesboro, Pa., has joined the staff of Fulton County Medical Center. Matre will begin seeing patients Feb. 7.


Matre will see patients at the Medical Services building. He specializes in disorders of the digestive and intestinal tract, such as ulcers, GERD, cancer, liver and pancreatic disease.

Psychiatrist receives specialty certification

Dr. Jude Boyer-Patrick completed the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry examination. She has achieved board certification in the medical subspecialty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Boyer-Patrick has been employed with Brook Lane Health Services since 2002 and is the director of the Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program.
