First National Bank of Greencastle

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - The First National Bank of Greencastle announced the promotions of the following three officers:

· Kim Shockey was promoted to sales and business development manager. Her new responsibilities include management and oversight of the sales and business development functions of the bank.

Working closely with the bank's Marketing Department and Product Committee, she also will oversee sales training.

Shockey, of Waynesboro, Pa., joined the bank in 1998 and previously served as regional branch manager, managing two branches.

· Duane Bock was promoted to retail loan manager, a post in which he will manage the bank's retail loan functions, its Federal Home Loan Bank mortgage program and loan operations.

Bock, of Chambersburg, Pa., joined the bank in 2000. He previously held the position of loan officer in the Greencastle office.


· Bob Moser was named commercial loan manager. He will manage the bank's commercial loan portfolio.

Moser, of Chambersburg, has more than 20 years of banking experience, specifically in commercial lending.

The Glocker Group

Laurel Walker was The Glocker Group's Top Real Estate Agent in Settled Units for December 2006.

She also was Top Agent for Settled Units for all of 2006.

· Gary Glocker was the Top Real Estate Agent for Settled Volume for December 2006.

Power Marketing

Power Marketing & Advertising Inc. was honored at the National Association of Home Builders, Building Systems Council Showcase in Orlando, Fla.

Power Marketing, of Hagerstown, received the 2007 Excellence in Marketing Award in the category of Associate Member Brochure. The award was for the design of Terrace Homes' 24-page consumer brochure featuring the company's history, home elevations and floor plans.

Power Marketing & Advertising Inc. is a full-service builder marketing and consulting company.

· Jesse Guay has joined Power Marketing's team of designers.

Guay, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., has a bachelor of fine arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Sulchek & Moore

Ron Sulchek, CPA/ABV, president of Sulchek & Company, has annouunced that Cynthia Moore, CPA, has become a partner of the Hagerstown firm.

The name of the firm has been changed to Sulchek & Moore LLC.

FREDERICK, Md. - Colleen Nestor, of Frederick, has moved to the Master Coordinators level as an independent distributor for Market America product brokerage and Internet marketing company.

Nestor became eligible for the new level after completing the Coordinator level and building a base of customers and a sales organization that achieves a high level of product sales monthly.

Angela Carbaugh, of Hagerstown, recently was promoted to AtHome America's Two-Star Special Team Leader level.

To reach the Two-State Special Team Leader level, HomeStyle specialists must reach certain levels in their personal sales and team sales and add new members to build their teams.

Tele-Plus Corp.

Tele-Plus Corporation, a regional company with headquarters in Hagerstown, recently recognized six employees for their contributions to the company during the business year ending Dec. 31.

Receiving Tele-Plus Awards of Excellence were: Paul D. Schmidt, McConnellsburg, Pa., sales; Michael L. Kidwell, Charles Town, W.Va., sales; Joshua C. The Maryland Correctional Institution-Hagerstown recognized Warren E. Miller, correctional officer II, as Employee of the Month.

Miller was instrumental in providing assistance to a fellow officer who was having a heart attack.

Miller has been employed by the State of Maryland since 1991.

· MCI-H recognized Richard E. Dayhoff, acting correctional officer captain, as Supervisor of the Quarter.

Dayhoff was given the task of developing a daily inner yard schedule for both the 4-12 and 8-4 shifts. This was accomplished and implemented within one month.

Dayhoff has been employed by the state since 1990.

Massage Therapy Clinic

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Katie Bowman, certified massage therapist, of Hagerstown, and Emma Clites, certified massage therapist, of Shippensburg, Pa., have joined the staff of Chambersburg Massage Therapy Clinic.

Bowman is trained in Swedish and deep tissue massage, myofacial release, therapeutic touch and reflexology. She is a graduate of The Accutech Career Institute in Frederick, Md., and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

Clites has credentials as a certified herbologist, certified homeopath, certified iridologist and a certified nursing assistant. She is a graduate of The Florida School of Massage in Gainesville.
