Due to a reporter's error, a story on page A3 of Saturday's Herald-Mail incorrectly stated the potential revenue from tournaments if lights were installed at a Fairgrounds Park ballfield. Thomas B. Riford, president and CEO of the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention & Visitors Bureau, said that a softball tournament could bring in $25,000 per tournament.

A story about renovations at Washington County Hospital's emergency department on page A3 of Monday's Morning Herald contained inaccurate information.

Hospital officials say plans for a new hospital facility call for the emergency department to be built near the edges, so that it can be expanded if necessary.

Due to an editor's error, the number of votes for one of the choices in the online poll was incorrect in Monday's Morning Herald.

Eighty people, or 25 percent of those who cast votes, thought the proposal to enclose the Fairgrounds Park grandstand and turn it into an athletic complex is "crazy and a waste of money."
