A Hagerstown man was charged with more than a dozen drug violations after he allegedly sold crack cocaine to an informant, according to a Washington County District Court charging document.

Lamont Matthew Berry, 31, of 217 Wakefield Road, faces 17 controlled-dangerous substance charges, including manufacturing narcotics for distribution, possession of narcotics with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Washington County District Court records.

A Washington County District Court charging document states that Berry was arrested Monday after he allegedly sold crack cocaine to the informant on several occasions. At Berry's residence, officers found cash, cocaine, scales, marijuana, a pipe and rolling papers, according to the charging document.

Berry was being held Wednesday night at the Washington County Detention Center on $750,000 bond, a deputy said.
