Real estate course offered

A 60-hour course for those wishing to take the Maryland Real Estate Licensing Examination will be offered through Hagerstown Community College's Center for Continuing Education beginning Jan. 23.

The course, approved by the State of Maryland Real Estate Commission, will prepare students to take the state exam. The class is taught by a team of local brokers, agents and managers from several real estate companies. Students must attend all classes and receive a 70 percent or better on the final test in order to be eligible to take the state examination.

The class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays through April 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. on the main campus of HCC. The cost is $279.
