Women's networking event is Thursday

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Wilson College will host a women's networking event, "Let's Talk Woman to Woman," from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in Sarah's Coffeehouse on the lower level of Lenfest Commons on the college campus. Two local businesswomen, Cindy Wolf of Edward Jones and Lynn MacBride of Barley Snyder LLC, are co-sponsoring the event.

An offshoot of Wilson's Business Partner program, "Let's Talk Woman to Woman" was created in 2004 as a way to strengthen the women's network in the Greater Chambersburg area. This is the seventh time Wilson has hosted "Let's Talk Woman to Woman," which offers local women an opportunity to meet or reconnect, network and share information.

Women from all career paths and backgrounds are welcome and encouraged to invite other women. Those attending are asked to bring a small door prize if possible, as well as their business cards, and come to connect with an ever-growing community of women-owned and operated businesses, including home-based businesses and franchises.

Light refreshments will be served. Guests are asked to contribute $5 per person, all of which supports the Wilson College Business Partner Endowed Scholarship fund.

Registration is recommended by today.
