W.Va. school receives $10,000 donation to buy computers

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Page Jackson Elementary School has received a $10,000 donation from American Public University to be used to purchase computers.

Wallace E. Boston, president and CEO of the Charles Town-based online university, made the presentation to Page Jackson Principal Tara Aycock.

Aycock said the money would be used to update computers in the kindergarten classes.

She said the school also had received 20 computers from the Parent-Teacher-Volunteer Organization.

On behalf of the school's staff and administration, she thanked the support and assistance the school has received from its Business Partners, including American Public University, and from the community in general.
