Pa. bank contributes to Exchange Club's Christmas gift program

January 07, 2007

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - The First National Bank of Greencastle recently presented a check for $786.94 to the Greencastle Exchange Club for the club's Christmas gift program.

Visitors donated the money at the club's "Visits With Santa," hosted by the bank during the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber of Commerce's "Heritage Christmas." The First National Bank of Greencastle also contributed $268 to the collection.

First National employees and Exchange Club volunteers assisted Santa during the visits. Each year, the Exchange Club buys Christmas gifts for needy children in the Greencastle area. The money collected will be used for the 2007 Christmas program.

"We really appreciate everyone who stopped in to have their photo taken with Santa and donated to the club," said Nathan Nardi of the Exchange Club. "This money will go a long way in making several children happy. It wouldn't have been possible without the help of bank employees and our club volunteers."
