Whether rock 'n' roll, country, jazz or comedy is your thing, there are plenty of ways to welcome the new year in the Tri-State area.

The Reagan Years, an '80s tribute band, will perform at Eclipse Nite Club, 19330 Leitersburg Pike, Hagerstown. Doors open at 8 p.m. Band starts at 10 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance; $25 at the door. Buy tickets in advance, and first drink is free. Includes hors d'oeuvres, champagne toast and party favors. Dinner and dancing to top-40 and classic-rock band New Censations at Quills at the Grand Venice Hotel, 431 Dual Highway, Hagerstown. 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dancing only, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., costs $31.50 per person. Ghost Riders is headlining the Southern rock concert event at Leitersburg Concert Theatre at Hagerstown 10 Cineplex, 20135 Leitersburg Pike, northeast of Hagerstown. Ghost Riders is made up of members from The Outlaws, Marshall Tucker Band, Pure Prairie League and Levon Helm Band. Opening acts are the Hagerstown band Long Term Hero and the Chambersburg, Pa.-area band Ominous. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Buffet dinner with lasagna, chicken tenders, meatballs, macaroni and cheese, roast beef and turkey subs, cookies and nonalcoholic drinks from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. No alcohol at event. At 11:30 p.m., "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2007" at Times Square will be displayed on a 40-foot movie screen in high definition. Attendees will get Bawls energy drink for midnight toast. Damon Smith and the Beautiful Mistakes, a country rock band, will perform starting at 9 p.m. at Cancun Cantina West, 901 Dual Highway, Hagerstown. Doors open at 5 p.m. The band will play from 9 p.m. until about 1 a.m. The party ends at 2 a.m. Tickets for the New Year's Eve event are $30 per person and $50 per couple. Funny Money with Steve Whiteman and Mark Schenker, both formerly of Kix, headlines the New Year's Eve Party at The Nest at Stinger's Sports Pub & Grill, 7704 Old National Pike, north of Boonsboro. Opening act is rock band ZO2. Tickets are $10 for the first 300 tickets sold; $15 thereafter. Additional $27.50 for dining special with appetizers, entrees (crab cakes, chicken Oscar, filet mignon or sesame ginger salmon filet) and desserts. Williamsport American Legion, Potomac Post 202, is hosting a New Year's Eve dinner-dance from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets cost $15 per person for members and their guests. Must be 21 or older. Menu is ham and roast beef with all the trimmings and homemade desserts. Hats and noisemakers. A midnight champagne toast.
