Sunday school begins at 9 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church, Smithsburg, Pastor Gerry Johnson will be speaking at the 8 and 10 a.m. communion services this Sunday on the topic, Christ is Love.

Sunday School for all ages meets at 9:10 a.m.

Emmanuel Baptist Temple, 16221 National Pike, Hagerstown, Pastor Larry Aikens will speak at 8:30 and 11 a.m. this Sunday on the topic, Who Jesus Is?

Mary's Unusual Christmas is the topic at 6 p.m.

Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m.

Teen and master's club groups meet at 7 p.m. Wednesdays. Wednesday Bible study and prayer meeting are at 7:30 p.m.

Grace Bible Church, 2327 Hoffman Road, Greencastle, Pa., Pastor J. Herman Fisler will preach on the topic, Prepare the Way of the Lord, at the 9:30 a.m. worship service this Sunday.

Wednesday at 7 p.m. is family night with classes for all ages.

Bridge of Life, 14 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. the joy of Christmas will be shared in worship, children's drama and dance.

Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Md. 67 and Locust Grove Road, Rohrersville, the Rev. Blaine Feightner will be preaching on the topic, Is It Really True?, at the 8:45 a.m. communion service this Sunday.

Pinesburg Baptist Church, 14706 Clear Spring Road, Williamsport, Pastor John Koontz Jr. will be preaching at the 11 a.m. service at the Blair's Valley Community Center. The topic is The Birth Supreme Amidst Things Ajar.

Koontz will also be teaching during the 10 a.m. Sunday school.

Sharpsburg Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Homer Nutting will speak at the 9:30 a.m. candlelight service this Sunday on the topic, Immanuel. Donna Nutting will be worship leader.

Sunday school for children begins at 10 a.m. Adult Sunday school is at 10:45 a.m.

Zion Assembly of God, Maugansville, Pastor Stew Torres will be speaking this Sunday at 10 a.m. on Vulnerable Love. The children's play will be presented.

The Russian services begin at 2 p.m.

The Church of Owens Creek, 15215A Foxville Church Road, Sabillasville, Pastor Thomas Horvat will be speaking this Sunday on the topic, He That Is Born King.

Services are at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, the Rev. Dennis Upton will bring a message, Believing in God's Promises, at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday service. Charlotte Eichelberger is lay leader and Pat Tagg is liturgist.

Sunday school for children is at 9:40 a.m. and for adults at 10:40 a.m.

St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Clear Spring, the children's drama will be presented this Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m.

Prayer time is Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Grace United Methodist Church, Pastor Clark Carr will be speaking at the 10 a.m. combined service this Sunday on The New Covenant Order - God's Will for our Life.

Salem Ridge Mennonite Church, Greencastle, Pa., a Christmas musical, Jesus, There's Something About That Name, will be performed at 9:30 a.m.

Otterbein United Methodist Church, the Rev. Stephen Robison will be speaking at the 8:15 and 11 a.m. services and the informal service at 9:45 a.m. this Sunday. The topic is Promiscuous or Promised?

Liturgists are Roy Byers at the early service and Tom Venetta at the later service.

Paramount Brethren in Christ Church, Pastor Jim Stauffer will lead the 10:45 a.m. combined service this Sunday, speaking on the topic, T'was the Day Before Christmas. The cantata, Hope was Born, will be presented.

At 9:30 a.m. Sunday school for all ages begins.

There will be no midweek ministries on Wednesday.

Church of the Holy Trinity UCC, Halfway, the Rev. Timothy Leighton will lead the 10:45 a.m. service this Sunday. The sermon topic will be Joyful Celebration.

Sunday school and adult Bible study begin at 9:30 a.m. Fellowship and refreshments follow the service.

Church of Christ in the Great Valley, Minister Casey Strunk will be speaking this Sunday at 9 a.m. on the topic, Jesus, Lord of Life.

A Sunday night service begins at 6. Wednesday night activities begin at 7.

The combined congregation meets at the Monroe Church of Christ, 7306 Wheeler Road in Boonsboro.

New Beginning Community Church, corner of Dual Highway and Beaver Creek Road, Hagerstown, Pastor Mark Snyder will be preaching this Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service on the Four Changes of Christmas. There will be special music and a birthday party for Jesus.

Wednesday night Bible study is at 7 p.m. Pastor Mark Snyder will present his series, And He Called Me, dealing with questions on what the Christian responsibilities are after accepting Christ.

St. Peter's (Beard's) Lutheran Church, Old Forge Road, Hagerstown, the Rev. David C. Baker will be speaking at the 9:15 a.m. service this Sunday. The topic is Power to be Grasped.

The Church of the Apostles (UCC), Waynesboro, Pa., the Rev. Carol Kipe will be preaching this Sunday at the 10:45 a.m. service. The topic is It's a Beautiful Day.
