Grace girls top Hancock

HANCOCK - Rebecca Morgan had a game-high 16 points and six steals to lead Grace Academy to a 50-47 victory over Hancock on Monday.

Megan Cox had 11 points and Kristin Serafini had nine points for the Knights (5-2), while Kelsey Shaffer had 11 rebounds and Megan Everett added eight rebounds.

Brandy Jenkins scored 15 points to lead the Panthers (0-4), while Shawnda Wills had seven points and seven rebounds, Samantha Truax had eight rebounds and Holly Funk had seven rebounds.

Goretti 39, Westmar 32

Sarah Spierenburg had a game-high 14 points and added seven blocks and five steals to lead St. Maria Goretti (6-2) over Westmar in a non-league game.

Everett 58, McConnellsburg 36

EVERETT, Pa. - Michelle Baker scored nine points to lead McConnellsburg in a Sideling Hill League loss to Everett.

Kayla Bailey had 10 rebounds for the Spartans (2-5, 1-3), while Gretchen Swope had six steals and Courtney McClure had four assists.

Northern Bedford 38, Southern Fulton 37

LOYSBURG, Pa. - Renee Spade scored 10 points to lead Southern Fulton in a Sideling Hill League loss to Northern Bedford.

Bethany Whiteside had seven points and Jessie Whiteside had four assists and two steals for the Indians (3-2, 3-2).

Hancock 62, Grace 46

HANCOCK - Steven Beaver scored a season-high 30 points and added six rebounds, six steals and four assists to lead Hancock over Grace in a non-league game.

Josh Unger had 11 points, six steals and six rebounds for the Panthers (1-4).

Nick Bunting had 27 points for the Knights.

E. York 64, Greencastle 59

YORK, Pa. - Greencastle-Antrim lost a five-point halftime lead as Eastern York broke away from a 45-45 tie after quarters to post a nonleague win over the Blue Devils (4-3).

Jordan Gembe led Greencastle with 23 points and hit five 3-pointers. Jaron Gembe was the other end of the Greencastle offensive punching, scoring 20 points. He hit a pair of 3-pointers, had nine rebounds and six assists.
