The Nalleys

William "Bill" and Sharon "Sherry" Nalley of Hagerstown celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 26.

The Nalleys were married Nov. 26, 1966, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg. Pastor Charles Birx, now deceased, performed the ceremony. The couple renewed their vows on their anniversary date in the same church. Pastor Richard Hembrock performed the ceremony. Their son, Timothy, and their daughter-in-law, Danielle, arranged the ceremony as a surprise.

Mrs. Nalley is a graphic designer with Bechtel Power Corp. in Frederick, Md. She is the former Sharon Hines, daughter of the late Leon and Betty Hines, who lived in Sharpsburg.

Mr. Nalley retired from Antietam Cable Television in Hagerstown after 34 years of service. He is the son of the late Howard and Leah Nalley Stine, who lived in Boonsboro.
