MARION, PA. - A Chambersburg, Pa., man was killed Friday night in a collision with a train in Guilford Township, and the Fayetteville, Pa., woman who was driving the car was critically injured, according to Franklin County Coroner Jeffrey R. Conner and Pennsylvania State Police.
Kevin L. Taylor, 37, of 550 S. Main St., was pronounced dead at the scene by Conner.
An autopsy was performed Saturday at Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Allentown, Pa., and the cause of death was blunt force multiple trauma, Conner said.
Taylor was a passenger in a 1992 Dodge Shadow driven by Helen L. Gordan, 45, address unavailable, of Fayetteville, police said.
Taylor was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle, Conner said.
Gordan, who also was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by helicopter to York (Pa.) Hospital with injuries that included "massive internal bleeding," police said. A hospital spokeswoman said Gordan remained in critical condition Saturday night.
