Money is stolen from Pa. post office

CRYSTAL SPRING, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police in Fulton County were investigating the theft of cash this week from the U.S. Post Office in Crystal Spring.

Police said $100 to $150 was taken from the post office cash register on Tuesday between 12:05 and 12:30 p.m. The post office was closed at the time, and was entered through an employee entrance on the side of the building.

Juvenile faces drug charges after search

FREDERICK, Md. - A juvenile faces drug charges after suspected marijuana was found during a search of a Frederick residence, according to a press release from the Frederick Police Department.


The juvenile was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, according to the release.

Police said they used a search-and-seizure warrant at 518 Lancaster Place on Thursday at 9:38 p.m., and police found the juvenile allegedly with about 68 grams of suspected marijuana.

The juvenile also was wanted through the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, according to the release.
