Christmas open house

Holiday open house



Washington County Rural Heritage Museum and Village will hold its holiday open house. Highlights include Santa Claus, children's workshop and craft area, free admission and miniature log houses. Plumb Grove



Plumb Grove, the restored 1831 farmhouse preserved by the Clear Spring District Historical Association, will be decorated as pioneer homes would have been in the 19th century for "A Currier and Ives Christmas in Clear Spring." Holiday concert



Hagerstown Choral Arts will present "Christmas with Choral Arts," a holiday concert featuring the Paramount Treblemakers and Hagerstown Handbell Ensemble. 'Major Barbara'

Civil War music



Samantha Brown of Rockville, Md., will present violin music of the Civil War. Marion James will play Christmas carols on the autoharp.
