Indians have no trouble scaling Tussey Mountain

SAXTON, Pa. - Natasha Bard had nine points, 12 rebounds and six assists to lead Southern Fulton to a 55-36 victory over Tussey Mountain (2-1, 0-1) in a Sideling Hill League game on Thursday.

Jessie Whiteside had 10 points, Destane Whiteside had six rebounds and five assists and Renee Spade and Shelly Diehl each had nine points for the Indians (2-0, 2-0).

Frederick Warriors 37, Faith 30

MARTINSBURG, W. Va. - Kimberly Passarelli had 21 points, six rebounds, four assists, four steals and three blocks to lead the Frederick Warriors over Faith Christian Academy.


Rebecca Reifsnider had 14 points, five rebounds and three blocks for the Warriors (5-1).


Mercersburg sweeps dual meet

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Mercersburg opened its dual meet season by defeating Progressive Christian 54-25 and Jefferson 39-37 on Wednesday. Freshman Cody Barrick and Dan Mazzei led Mercersburg with two wins each.

Key victories for the Blue Storm (2-0) against Progressive Chrisitan came from Tyler Mort (135), Bobby Wolford (140), Barrick and Dylan Dick (152).

North: Joel Mattie 11 points, 11 rebounds.

Hedgesville: Tom Efflandis 17 points.
