Money and supplies, including medicine and halters, are needed to care for the horses found at Windrinker Farm, the Humane Society of Washington County said.

Among the items needed by the society are round pen panels, sorting gates, halters, leads, blankets and horse feed tubs.

Days End Farm Horse Rescue in Howard County, Md. - which is caring for about 25 of the horses - needs breakaway halters, lead ropes, small waterproof blankets, latex gloves, Betadine solution and Betadine scrub, bag pine shavings and daily and monthly deworming regimens such as Panacure, Strongid, Ivermectin or ComboCare, the humane society said.
