December 02, 2006

Located in desirable North Hagerstown, Paradise Manor features spectacular estate homes on almost 1/2-acre homesites. The quiet location is just minutes from shopping, recreation, restaurants, and commuter routes.

"This community provides more of an upscale feel," said Ryan Homes sales manager David Wilcox.

Each estate home is generously appointed with today's most desirable features, including stately brick fronts, 9-foot ceilings, four to five bedrooms, up to six baths and a designer trim package.

Paradise Manor was the fastest-selling Ryan Homes community in Washington County in 2005.

Homeowners may choose from nine models in Paradise Manor, located on Paradise Drive off Longmeadow Road. Homes available include:

The Zachary (mid $330s) is designed as a nontraditional, two-story home that combines both "drama and efficiency." The innovative design begins with the side staircase that overlooks the two-story open foyer. One of the most unique features of the Zachary is the column and niche details that create and accentuate the angled vistas from formal to everyday living areas. The spacious kitchen features a center island, large pantry and conveniently located laundry room. Upstairs, all the rooms branch off the open hallway. The hallway is filled with light from the two-story foyer and stairway with its unique half round window. The owner's suite features double entry doors, a huge closet and dual vanities. Included in The Zachary are four bedrooms, a two-car garage and unfinished lower level.

The Yorkshire (upper $330s) is one of the most popular Ryan center hall floor plans. The large formal living and dining rooms open onto either side of the foyer. The generous family room adjoins the well-equipped kitchen creating a spacious and friendly family living area. The laundry room and a large pantry are conveniently located off the kitchen. Upstairs the spacious owner's suite comes standard with dual vanities and a large walk-in closet. The Yorkshire comes complete with four bedrooms, a two-car garage and an unfinished lower level.

The Courtland (upper $360s) is designed for grace and style and welcomes you with a two-story open foyer. Opening onto the foyer, behind double French doors, is a secluded private study, perfect for a home office or library. The living room and dining room can be divided by optional stately round columns that separate the space while preserving its integrity. There are 9-foot ceilings standard throughout the first floor. The kitchen and dinette are centrally located to the generous family room. Upstairs, the luxury owner's suite is appointed with large closets, a corner soaking tub, separate shower and dual vanities. The Courtland includes four bedrooms, a two-car garage, unfinished lower level plus a convenient first-floor laundry room.

The Milford (upper $370s) is one of the newest and most exciting Ryan designs featuring 9-foot ceilings and an owner's suite on the first floor. As you enter the large foyer, you look ahead past a graceful waterfall staircase to the expansive family room, featuring a dramatic 2-story sloped ceiling. An enclosed entertainment center above the fireplace is optional. The formal dining room and living room are framed with decorative columns and open off the foyer. The eat-in kitchen is a gourmet's delight. The luxurious owner's suite includes two spacious walk-in closets and can be upgraded with a separate sitting room.

The owner's bath includes a soaking tub, separate shower with a seat and dual vanities. The laundry room is conveniently located just outside the owner's suite. Featuring a dramatic overlook down to the family room, the upper level has three spacious bedrooms and a bath. You can choose to add a bonus room over the garage and a loft in lieu of the third bedroom. Or, for a second-level suite, add a full bath to the third bedroom. The Milford features four bedrooms, a two-car garage and an unfinished lower level.

The Waverly (upper $380s) is one of Ryan's premier models, designed to provide dramatic yet efficient use of space. The impact begins in the two-story foyer, which is highlighted by a segmented, angled staircase. To one side, the formal living and connecting dining room are separated by an archway with optional columns. The study, featuring double French doors, is secluded by the front door for additional privacy. All first-floor rooms feature 9-foot ceilings. An angled vista draws you toward the well-equipped, eat-in kitchen and separate laundry room. The family room steps down from the kitchen with its vaulted ceiling and back staircase. The second level features a deluxe owner's suite with walk-in closet, a tray ceiling, sitting room and a luxurious bath with corner soaking tub and separate shower. The Waverly includes four bedrooms, a two-car garage and unfinished lower level.
