Church to hold Christmas bazaar



The members of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Keedysville are having a Christmas bazaar Saturday and Sunday.

Shop from a selection of Christmas baskets, crafts and ceramics, then sample from an assortment of soups, sandwiches, pies, cakes and homemade Christmas candy. Raffles will be held, with the proceeds benefiting Devin Fales.

Bazaar hours are Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, 1 to 3 p.m. St. Peter's Lutheran Church is at 53 N. Main St., Keedysville.




Kepler Theater to host 'Major Barbara'



The Hagerstown Community College Robinwood Player's cast of 40 students will perform "Major Barbara," written by George Bernard Shaw, on Friday, Dec. 8 and Saturday, Dec. 9, at 8 p.m. in Kepler Theater.

"Major Barbara" is a comedy about a war profiteer, his daughter in The Salvation Army, and his successor, a professor of Greek.

Tickets cost $7 and are available in advance at the HCC Bookstore or at the door the evening of the performance.
