Thanksgiving meals will be offered today

A number of free holiday meals will be held today in the Tri-State area. A list of some of those meals is included here.

The 51st annual Thanksgiving Day lunch for the community at the Hagerstown Rescue Mission will be at 11:30 a.m. at the Trinity Center.

Activities for children will start at 11 a.m.

Grace United Methodist Church, at Winter and Church streets in Hagerstown, will host its seventh annual community Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 3 p.m.

Meals also will be available for delivery in the Hagerstown area.

WILLIAMSPORT - Williamsport United Methodist Church at 25 E. Church St. will host a Thanksgiving Day dinner for the community from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.


GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Antrim Assembly of God at 11192 Bemisderfer Road will host its second annual Thanksgiving Day dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Meals also will be sent to shut-ins in the surrounding area.

BOONSBORO - A community Thanksgiving Day meal will be served from noon to 5 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Boonsboro Bible Church at 6741 Old National Pike.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - St. Joseph Catholic Church will host its sixth annual community Thanksgiving Day dinner from noon to 4 p.m. at the church school at 110 E. Stephen St.

FREDERICK, Md. - The annual Thanksgiving Day dinner at the Frederick Rescue Mission at 419 W. South St. will be served from noon to 4 p.m.
