Rebosky-Sanders

Mr. and Mrs. William H. Rebosky Jr., of Warfordsburg, Pa., announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Marie Rebosky, to Lt. James Walter Sanders Jr. of Rockville, Md., son of Janis Sanders of Clear Spring and the late James Sanders Sr.

Miss Rebosky is a 1999 graduate of Southern Fulton High School and received a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003. She is employed as a senior pharmaceutical sales representative with GlaxoSmithKline in Rockville.

Lt. Sanders is a 1999 graduate of Clear Spring High School, received a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering from Clemson University in 2003 and is pursuing a master's degree in software engineering at University of Maryland University College. He is a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army and is executive officer for a satellite communications company within the National Security Agency at Fort Meade, Md.

Pereira-Farris

Frank and Joyce Pereira of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Joy Melissa Pereira, to Corey Wayne Farris, son of Timothy and Gail Farris of Hagerstown and Rob and Wanda Poffenburger of Sharpsburg.

Miss Pereira is a 2000 graduate of South Hagerstown High School, attended Penn State Mont Alto and received a Bachelor of Science in Bible and social work from Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, Pa. She is employed as a case manager at the Arc of Washington County and is a part-time cashier at Weis Market in Hagerstown.

Mr. Farris is a 2005 graduate of Boonsboro High School, attended Penn State Mont Alto and is pursuing a degree in Web design and multimedia development at Hagerstown Community College. He is employed as a package handler with FedEx Ground in Hagerstown.

A May 26, 2007, wedding is planned.




Hilton-Turner

Mr. and Mrs. William Hilton of Shepherdstown, W.Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Louise Hilton, to James Parker Turner IV, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Parker Turner III of Sarasota, Fla.

Ms. Hilton is a 2002 graduate of Saint James School and received a Bachelor of Arts in corporate communications with a minor in business administration from Elon University in Elon, N.C., this year. She is employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative with Merck & Co.

Mr. Turner also is a 2002 graduate of Saint James School and received a Bachelor of Arts in political science with a minor in criminal justice from Elon University this year. He is employed as manager of business development with Liberty Port LLC, an international consulting firm.

A fall 2007 wedding is planned.




Zeigler-Myers

Kendra Dawn Zeigler and Hoye Douglas Myers announce their engagement.

Ms. Zeigler is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Zeigler of Ringgold. She is a 1993 graduate of Smithsburg High School, Career Studies Center's health occupations program and received an associate of applied science as a medical secretary/assistant from Hagerstown Business College in 1995. She is employed with Cumberland Valley Ear, Nose and Throat Consultants.

Mr. Myers is a 1989 graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School and received a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Shippensburg University in 1993. He is co-owner of Realty Sign Post Co.

Leonard-House

George and Michelle Leonard of Chilcoot, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Jene Leonard, to Gary Stephen House, son of Kathy Jo House of Rohrersville.

Ms. Leonard is a 1999 graduate of Boonsboro High School. She is employed as an office assistant with Hardwood Solutions in Frederick, Md.

Mr. House is a 2001 graduate of Boonsboro High School and received an associate degree in computer science. He is employed as a network administrator with Protection Strategies Inc. in Arlington, Va.

A spring 2008 wedding is planned.




Rhodes-Rockwell

Angela Christine Rhodes and Andrew Scott Rockwell of Hedgesville, W.Va., announce their engagement.

Ms. Rhodes is the daughter of the late Urner L. Golden and the late Jo-ann Golden. She attended Hancock Middle Senior High School. She is a homemaker and stay-at-home mother.

Mr. Rockwell is the son of Rodney and Gail-Marion Rockwell of Hedgesville. He attended Hedgesville High School. He is employed as a controls engineer.

Williams-Watts

Lisa Dawn Williams and David Allen Watts Sr. announce their engagement.

Ms. Williams is the daughter of Shirley Marie Fernandez of State Line, Pa., and the late Jeremiah Neal Roberts. She received a general equivalency diploma in 1998.

Mr. Watts is the son of the late Annie Mae Watts. He received a general equivalency diploma in 1982. He is employed as a cook with Four Points Sheraton on Dual Highway.

Willyette and Paul Boyd announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Boyd Smith, to Donald Charles Smith III, son of Diane and Gary Starliper. Ms. Boyd Smith is also the daughter of the late John Boyd I. Mr. Smith is also the son of the late Donald Smith II.

Ms. Boyd Smith is a graduate of James Madison High School. She is employed full time.

Mr. Smith is a graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He is employed full time.

Hahn-Kirby

Lisa R. Hahn and Jeffrey "Trigger" Kirby announce their engagement.

Ms. Hahn is a 1987 graduate of Catoctin High School. She is employed with United HealthGroup.

Mr. Kirby is the son of Kenneth and Mary Kirby of Williamsport. He is a 1983 graduate of Williamsport High School. He is employed with Grove Inc. in Pennsylvania. He has served as a volunteer firefighter with Williamsport Volunteer Fire Co. for more than 25 years.
