CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Greencastle, Pa., woman convicted of stabbing her brother in January was sentenced Wednesday in Franklin County Court on a charge of aggravated assault.

Vivian Jane Daddona, 33, a county inmate, was sentenced by Judge Douglas Herman to time served from her arrest to 23 months. She also was sentenced to five more years on probation.

Daddona had spent 11 months and 10 days in jail as of Wednesday. Herman ordered she be paroled as soon as a home plan is approved by the Probation Department.

Daddona had been charged with stabbing Jerry Lee Noll Jr. 17 times on Jan. 5 at their North Young Road home during an argument. Public Defender Michael Toms said none of the injuries Noll sustained in the attack were serious.

She pleaded guilty to aggravated assault on Oct. 19 in exchange for other charges being dismissed, according to court records. When first charged by Pennsylvania State Police, charges against Daddona included criminal homicide.

During her parole and probation period, Herman ordered Daddona be placed under the supervision of the Probation Department's mental health officer.
