MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Felony warrants have been issued for two Hagerstown men who authorities believe robbed the Days Inn in Martinsburg, W.Va., at gunpoint Nov. 3.

Police are seeking help from the public to find the men.

Jeffrey Allen Williams, 44, of 231 East Ave., and Issaac Jose Prather, 32, of 1548 Broadfording Road, face charges of kidnapping and armed robbery, according to a news release from Martinsburg Police Department Detective Sgt. G.B. Swartwood.

The warrants for their arrest were issued Friday by Berkeley County Magistrate JoAnn Overington. County Prosecuting Attorney Pamela Games-Neely has authorized extradition for the men, Swartwood said.

The robbery happened about 1:19 a.m. in the hotel at 209 Viking Way, off West King Street. Police allege the men showed revolvers to take money from the register and they also took a safe from the main office.

The clerk also was forced to move "from room to room at gunpoint" during the robbery, Swartwood said.

A meeting Friday between Martinsburg and Hagerstown police department detectives to pursue leads led to the identity of the men and authorities recovered $3,100 stolen in the robbery, Swartwood said.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of the men is asked to contact police in Martinsburg at 304-264-2100.
