Holiday dinner and show to be featured at Antietam Recreation

November 14, 2006

Performances of the 2006 Old-Fashioned Cowboy Christmas Dinner and Show at Antietam Recreation will continue every weekend through Dec. 30.

The evening of family fun includes a hay ride, square dancing, a live nativity and petting zoo, marshmallow roasting, an ambush game and more. Holiday decorations, a forest of trees and thousands of white lights surround guests. The meal is served by costumed characters and includes barbecue beef, a baked potato with butter and sour cream, biscuits, applesauce, baked beans and dessert.

The dinner show is a drama called "The Christmas Miracle at Eagle Ridge" that unfolds in a Western town of yesteryear and includes horses and fight sequences.
