Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Owen K. Martz, son of Linda Zawacky of Martinsburg, W.Va., has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Martz is a 1991 graduate of Berkeley Springs (W.Va.) High School.




Air Force Airman Erica R. Merson, daughter of Christina Lefler of Martinsburg, W.Va., has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Merson is a 2006 graduate of Musselman High School in Inwood, W.Va.




Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Mathew C. Ramsey, son of Kermit and Coetta Ramsey of Chambersburg, Pa., has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Ramsey is a 2004 graduate of James Buchanan High School in Mercersburg, Pa.




Air Force Airman Brian D. Van Winkle, son of Brian Van Winkle of Greencastle, Pa., has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Van Winkle is a 2005 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School.




Air National Guard Senior Master Sgt. David S. Wilson, son of Richard and Jo Wilson of Bunker Hill, W.Va., is deployed in Southwest Asia to support the missions of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Wilson is assigned to the 386th Expeditionary Wing, providing military aerial operations from its forward-deployed location to sites in Kuwait and Iraq.

Wilson is a security forces supervisor assigned to the 167th Airlift Wing, Martinsburg, W.Va.

Wilson has served in the military for 28 years. His wife, Paula, is the daughter of Dave and Shirley Moore of Martinsburg.

Wilson is a 1976 graduate of Musselman High School in Bunker Hill, W.Va.




Air Force Airman Jet M. Nesle, son of Robert and Madeline Naill of Waynesboro, Pa., has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.




Army Reserve Pvt. Tracy L. McJilton, daughter of Juanita Silver of Shanghai Road in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
