Vandalism, break-in cases reported

The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the following calls Monday, Lt. Mark Knight said:

· At 7:30 a.m., a window was reported broken out of a 1997 Dodge Dakota pickup truck parked in the 100 block of West Main Street in Sharpsburg. A rock was found inside the truck.

· At 8 a.m., a house in the 100 block of Potomac Street in Boonsboro was reported struck with pumpkins.

· At 8 a.m., a 2002 Suzuki Esteem parked in the first block of South Main Street in Keedysville was reported struck by a rock.

· At 9 a.m., an apartment in the first block of North Conococheague Street in Williamsport was reported broken into.

· At 9 a.m., a rotten pumpkin was reportedly used to smash out a back window of a Chevrolet van parked on North Main Street in Keedysville.


· At 10 a.m., a Dell laptop and clothes were reported stolen from an Oldsmobile Aurora parked in the 19200 block of Jamestown Drive.

· At 10 a.m., a front window of a Chrysler PT Cruiser was reportedly broken in the first block of South Main Street in Keedysville.

· At 10 a.m., a newly installed sign was reported stolen from Toothman and Barra DDS, at 81 N. Edgewood Drive. The sign was valued at $400.

· At 12:30 p.m., a pumpkin was reported thrown through a windshield of a 1988 Plymouth Reliant parked in the 8200 block of Mapleville Road.

· At 3:30 p.m., a vehicle was reported broken into in the 16500 block of Spielman Road. A briefcase and a wallet were reported stolen.
