How difficult is it for you to balance athletics with your academic requirements?

"It's kind of easy once you realize that if you don't balance them, then you won't play." "I feel I do better with a full plate of athletics and academics, and in the long run it has taught me to manage my time."

Who has had the biggest influence on your life?

"My coach, he has been my main coach my whole volleyball career. "He has really taught me alot."

Who is the best athlete you have competed against?

"Sarah Keyser. She was a center midfielder for us last year. She was very aggressive and could see the field real well."

Why do you like the sport you play?

"I make the game intense, and it can be very competetive. I love that it's a team sport, when I'm down my teammates can pick me up, and when they're down I do the same."


What is your proudest moment, on or off the field?

"When my club team, the Washington County Junior Cyclones, went to nationals."

What are your career aspirations?

"To major in sports management or secondary education as a physical education teacher."

Who do you listen to most on your iPod?

"Country. Garth Brooks."

What other extracurricular activities are you involved in?

"Basketball / Tennis / Senoir Class President / National Honors Society."
