You think you get the "bah, humbugs" at Christmas time? In "The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause," Santa feels worse than you ever could.

Scott Calvin (played by Tim Allen) is an ordinary guy who became Santa Claus in the first movie in the "Santa Clause" series. Christmastime is especially hard for Santa this year. Baby Claus is due any time, and holding his family together while preparing for Christmas is tough.

While Santa tries to handle both, his jealous competitor, Jack Frost, plots to replace the big guy in the red coat. The day before Christmas, Frost tricks Calvin into wishing he had never been Santa at all, which, due to the Escape Clause, takes both of them back to the night when Calvin became Santa Claus. Frost puts on the coat instead, and therefore fulfills his plan.

Now Calvin must find a way to return Christmas to the way it was.

This movie is full of witty dialogue and good-humored sarcasm, which makes it more interesting for older audiences. Martin Short is perfect as Jack Frost. The special effects aren't as good as they might have been, but overall this movie is entertaining and will get you in the Christmas spirit.
