Al-Anon/Alateen Family Groups

Bereavement support

Parents grief support

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Six-week group begins today from 7 to 8 p.m., offered by Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court. The group will meet the first Monday of each month through April for parents who have experienced the death of a child. Free, but registration is required. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month to educate and inform residents of Washington County about mental illness and to support individuals with mental illness, their families and caregivers. Darkness Into Sunshine

BOONSBORO - Second Wednesday, Nov. 8, 11 a.m. to noon, Office of Consumer Advocates, 265 Mill St., Hagerstown. Darkness Into Sunshine Group also meets every Wednesday beginning Nov. 8, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Mount Haven, 215 N. Main St. The Mount Haven Drop In Center is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday. The groups offer support to individuals and their families affected by mental illness. Parents Learning Together (PLT)
