The six local Edward Jones investment representatives are hosting a free broadcast presentation, "Six Things to Consider About Your Estate Planning," on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

John O'Grady, an attorney and estate-planning expert, will explore six practical strategies for developing an effective estate plan.

The interactive event is presented at select Edward Jones branch offices nationwide via the firm's private video network.

Hagerstown Community College's Technical Innovation Center (TIC), in conjunction with MarketingProfs.com, is presenting a series of free "virtual seminars" on a variety of marketing topics.

These are live broadcasts and include interactive question-and-answer periods.

One of these seminars, entitled "Call to Action: Secret Formulas for Boosting E-Conversion Rates," will be held Thursday, Nov. 9, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the TIC's conference room. Ryan Physical Therapy Associates will present the latest in its continuing community health seminars, "Helping You Help Yourself" on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. at the office at 1190 Mount Aetna Road in Hagerstown.

The free program, "De-Stress Your Holidays" will present real world tips and techniques for reducing and managing stress on mind and body, not only during the holidays, but throughout the year.
