KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - The identity of a woman killed in a two-vehicle accident Thursday morning on W.Va. 480 was released Friday by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.

Margaret Ann Wright, 37, of 14 New Oak Tree Court in Charles Town, W.Va., was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which was dispatched by emergency communications officials at 6:53 a.m., Sheriff's Deputy Cpl. R.S. Sell said.

The other motorist involved in the accident was identified as Jerad A. Feathers, 18, of Perth Way in Shepherdstown, W.Va.

Feathers was flown to Winchester (Va.) Medical Center Thursday, but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, Sell said.

Feathers was northbound on W.Va. 480 in a GMC truck when he lost control of the vehicle as it crested a hill between Van Clevesville Road and Kearneysville, Sell said.

The vehicle left the road before Feathers overcorrected to return to his lane. The truck then crossed the center line and struck the Dodge Neon that Wright was driving south toward Kearneysville, Sell said.
