Smithsburg teen to compete in pageant

Meagan Bromley, 16, of Smithsburg, will compete for the title of Miss Maryland Teen USA 2007 on Nov. 3, 4 and 5, at Marriott North Bethesda Hotel & Conference Center in North Bethesda, Md. Meagan is the daughter of Karen Bromley and Dean Bromley. She attends Smithsburg High School, and her activities and hobbies include varsity lacrosse, treasurer of student government, Young Life, Western Maryland Youth Lacrosse Club and the National Society of High School Scholars.

Her sponsors for the pageant are Susquehanna Bank, The Cavetown Planning Mill Co. Inc., Aamco, CMG Electric Inc., Sulchek & Co., Hagerstown Honda, Hamilton Nissan, Debbie's Soft Serve, Roto Rooter, Penn Avenue Meats, Rocky's New York Pizza, Village Spirits, Village Florists, Studio B Hair & Nails, Stine, Davis of Maryland, Spicher's Appliance Inc., HBP Inc. and friends and family.

The Miss Maryland Teen USA and Miss Maryland USA pageants are the official preliminaries to the Miss Teen USA, Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, owned and produced by Donald J. Trump on NBC Television. The young woman chosen as Miss Maryland Teen USA 2007 will go on to represent the state of Maryland in the 2007 Miss Teen USA pageant.

Contestants sought for Mrs. Maryland

The Mrs. Maryland International Pageant is seeking contestants from Hagerstown to represent the city in the Mrs. Maryland International 2007 Pageant. The pageant will be held March 31.

Contestants must be between the ages of 21 and 56, must work or live in Maryland, and must be married for at least six months. Contestants will compete in personal interview, aerobic wear, evening gown and platform competitions. There is no talent or bathing suit competition.

The winner will receive a trip to Chicago to compete in the Mrs. International 2007 Pageant.

Teen pageant seeks contestants

The Miss Teen Maryland International Pageant is seeking contestants from Washington County to represent Washington County in the upcoming Miss Teen Maryland International 2007 Pageant. The pageant will be held March 31.

Contestants must be between the ages of 13 and 18, and live or go to school in Washington County. Contestants will compete in personal interview, aerobic wear, fun fashion wear, evening gown and platform competitions. There will be no talent or bathing suit competition.

The winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Chicago to compete in the Miss Teen International 2007 Pageant.
