The Force is with this game

Stormtroopers in men's Speedo swimsuits? Darth Vadar in Princess Leia's metal bikini? If you find this a funny sight, then you would probably enjoy "Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy" for GameCube. It has all these things and more.

The first "Lego Star Wars" for GameCube had humor, but this newest edition has even more.

Some of my favorite aspects of the game are that you can hop on and off so many different animals and vehicles. It's great riding banthas and dewbacks. Controlling AT-ATs, AT-STs, land speeders and speeder bikes is pretty thrilling, too. There are even changing tubes where you can make your own Lego figures. You can earn small, round Lego pieces called "studs" and you can use these to buy characters, extras (such as Chewbacca carrying C-3PO) and even gold Lego bricks.

The game has many missions, based on the original "Star Wars" trilogy. It also has many of the famous movie battles, like the battle of Yavin, the battle of Hoth and the battle of Endor (which includes little Lego Ewoks). During the battles you get to use different kinds of weapons and you can use the Force to build bridges, platforms and other helpful items.

Altogether, you can walk, run and fly through 18 long levels. It's these long levels that give you more bang for your buck. However, if you have time limits for how long you can play video games, it can be hard to finish an entire level at one sitting. (Hint, hint, Mom, I need longer playing times).

Enjoy this game and may the Force be with you!
