How difficult is it for you to balance athletics with you academic requirements?

"It's not really difficult. Sometimes we have meets during the week, so we just take our homework to the meets."

Who has had the biggest influence on your life?

"My sister. She has always worked really hard and taught me to work hard."

Why do you like the sport that you play?

"Because everyone gets along and it brings people closer together. Also, it's a great stress reliever."

Who is the best athlete you have competed against?

"Ashley Lockard. She graduated two years ago and won the state championship."

What is your proudest moment on or off the field?


"When we won regionals last year and got to go to states as a team. No one thought we could do it. We were definitely underdogs, but we came together."

What is your favorite website?

" It's where I check my mail."

Do you have any pre-race rituals?

"Before we run, we say a prayer as a team."

What are your career aspirations?

"I would like to study music in college. I love to sing."

What do you listen to most on your iPod?

"Carrie Underwood."
