The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following calls this week:

Sunday

· 1:43 p.m. - theft of ladders, 1000 block of Sherman Avenue

· 9:45 p.m. - damage to property/theft, 100 block of West North Avenue

Monday

· 10:20 a.m. - bicycle found, 200 block of South Potomac Street

· 10:51 a.m. - damage to motor vehicle mirrors, 500 block of West Franklin Street

· 11:08 a.m. - robbery, 500 block of West Franklin Street

· 2:03 p.m. - theft, 400 block of North Prospect Street

· 2:06 p.m. - bicycle found, 200 block of South Prospect Street

· 7:22 a.m. - cash stolen, 300 block of Frederick Street

· 8:34 a.m. - theft of hood ornament from motor vehicle, first block of Elgin Boulevard

· 8:51 a.m. - theft of electric hair trimmer and cash from Hair Cuttery on Dual Highway

· 11:23 a.m. - harassment, 300 block of South Mulberry Street

· 1:39 p.m. - found book bag, 100 block of Key Street

· 1:43 p.m. - forged check, 1500 block of Potomac Avenue

· 2:49 p.m. - damage to windows, 300 block of East Antietam Street

· 3:15 p.m. - forgery/theft, 1500 block of Potomac Avenue

· 7:30 p.m. - check fraud/forgery/theft, 400 block of George Street

· 8:13 p.m. - scratches on motor vehicle, 1400 block of Haven Road

· 9:15 p.m. - child neglect, first block of North Mulberry Street

· 11:53 p.m. - damage to side mirror on motor vehicle, 200 block of Winter Street

· 12:07 a.m. - unattended child, 900 block of Lanvale Street




Sheriff's Department responds to calls



The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the following calls since Thursday, Sgt. Roy Harsh said.

Thursday

· At 11:25 a.m., a PlayStation Portable was reported stolen from the 21500 block of Kelso Drive. The system is valued at $200.

· At 2 p.m., a car reportedly was broken into in the 12300 block of Richwood Drive.

· At 3:08 p.m., a vehicle parked in the first block of West Poplar Street in Funkstown reportedly was egged.

· At 5:27 p.m., a purse was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 13600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

· At 9:24 p.m., a three-piece suit, $20 in coins and a snowboard were reported stolen from the 18400 block of Rose Glow Avenue.

Friday

· At 2:14 a.m., an alleged breaking and entering was reported at Terry's Auto Center at 108 N. Main St. in Boonsboro. A glass door was broken and someone tried to steal cash.

· At 3:55 a.m., four saws and three water pumps were reported stolen from Valley Supply at 20332 Leitersburg Pike.

· At 5:16 a.m., a mo-ped was reported stolen from the 700 block of Queen Anne's Court. The mo-ped is a yellow 2005 Econ Beamer.
