Duplicate bridge club posts results

Fourteen pairs competed Friday night, Oct. 20, during a meeting of the Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club in Hagerstown.

In the North/South direction, Anne Carden and Ethel Reed finished first in the A stratum with a 62.8 percent game. Jack and Patsy Mesner were second in A and first in B with 55.65 percent, and Frank Carden and Alan Brown were third in A with 54.17 percent. Scott and Debbie Kiser placed second in B and first in C with 53.57 percent.

In the East/West direction, David Abuhove and Jack Sherwood were first in A with 56.55 percent. Dick and Lois Taylor were second in A with 56.25 percent, and Bill and Madeline Davis were third in A and first in B with 53.87 percent. Tina Angle and Peg Abercrombie came in second in B and first in C with 53.57 percent, and Pete Storm and Elizabeth Wiley were second in C with 59.7 percent.

The Little Heiskell Duplicate Bridge Club meets at 7:30 p.m. Fridays at the American Legion on Northern Avenue in Hagerstown. All bridge players are welcome.
