October 24, 2006

The Washington County chapter of the American Cancer Society will host its annual brunch Sunday, Nov. 5, at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center in Hagerstown from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A buffet brunch will be available and a silent auction will be held. Television and radio personality Lou Scally will be the master of ceremonies. Music will be provided by Easy Listening.

Miss Maryland 2006 Brittany Lietz, 21, will be a special guest. Lietz, a cancer survivor, was diagnosed with stage II melanoma in 2005.

Since being diagnosed, Lietz has partnered with many national organizations, such as Joanna M.
